Every girl dreams of their perfect date and have wonderful it would be to find someone special. While I have been on many great dates in my life, I don’t think I’ve ever been on a perfect one. Of course it’s difficult to have all your dating dreams come true when you aren’t in control of every detail of the date. I guess I’m just being a little bit picky but there are some things I would love to have a guy do for me. In the overall scheme of things, there are some things that are so heavily tied to romance it’s hard to get them out of your head. Even though any source of dating tips will tell you it’s not about grand gestures are expensive gifts, you can’t help but daydream sometimes about everything going right. Here are some of the things that I would like to have happen on a date that I would consider absolutely perfect.
I’m not a girl that needs expensive gifts or jewelry, and these things are not absolute requirements for me. In fact, I would get kind of freak out if the guys showed up on a first date with a very expensive necklace or a wristwatch for me. I would feel like he’s trying to buy my affection or trying to show off in some way. However, I’m a sucker for flowers and that’s on element I really need to have if I consider it dates to be perfect. It doesn’t even matter what kind of flowers, and I have a preference for thinking outside of the box. So while roses would be nice, I’d like a guy to pick his own personal favorite flower rather than trying to guess what I like.
I’ve been on dates were guys take me to expensive restaurants like in the best romantic movies before, and they really haven’t been anything special. It’s nice to get all dressed up and feel like you’re important by going to a costly restaurant, but that type of atmosphere really isn’t for me. I would prefer a guy to cook dinner for me, and I know that’s a lot to ask considering most men never set foot in the kitchen. But my perfect scenario involves being taken on something like a picnic in the middle of a sunny day. It would be wonderful if a guy set up a mini kitchen outside and then proceeded to cook me an uncomplicated meal. It would be nice to eat out doors and not having to worry about line ups or dressing up in my fanciest outfit.
I’m not really big on activities you there so I don’t need to be taken rockclimbing or skydiving on a date. However, I do like certain traditional romantic things such as taking a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. I know it’s really cheesy, but there something about this type of thing that makes any situation more romantic. Maybe it has roots in every girls dream to be a princess, and nothing brings that to life like writing in the back of a carriage.
Of course no date would be perfect unless you’re on one with a great guy, and I can be rather picky in this Department. Obviously looks do matter who matter what you say about personality and what’s on the inside. There has to be a certain chemistry in order for there to be attraction, and I definitely need that on a date. But I also need good conversation and someone to stimulate me with interesting discussions of everyday events. I’m not looking for a guy who is an open book who wants to share everything, but it would be nice to be able to talk about real life. I think if I had all of these components in one package, then I would definitely consider that my perfect date. I have had elements of the few, and I’ve definitely had memorable experiences, but I’m hoping that one day a guy will put all of these things together for me, and that way I’ll know I’ve found my true love.
